Right away from the time I was young, I liked everything that is associated with Technology. I had a dream of doing an Information Technology course. In 2009 my dream became a reality when I was admitted at Uganda Christian University to do Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
Besides classwork, am a person with good personal
and interpersonal skills coupled with good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
I also like traveling and adventure and have a passion for increasing my cross-cultural competencies. This explains why I have been a leader and organizer of
different clubs, fellowships, and associations and often attended Seminars and
Conferences.
After my graduation, the love of
technology prompted me to partner with four friends and start an IT Company
called Nemrock Software Solutions LTD where I served as a Managing
Director, Webmaster and
head of Finance and Planning. I was responsible for Corporate Administration,
Corporate Image and Relationships, Finance and planning, Communication, Public
Relations, Art and Publicity.
Prior to my roles in Nemrock Software
Solutions Limited, I was a Tutor of Computer application at Kisoro
International Vocational Institute before becoming a Data entrant at Compassion
International- Uganda where I worked for 6 months. After my Contract with
Compassion international I got an opportunity of being a research Assistant for
Christian Broadcasting Network; a work which I diligently did for one
month. I had Earlier on done an
internship in the Information Technology office (Sponsorship office) of World
Vision Uganda where I did a recommendable job. Besides, I
also have proficiency in accounting packages including Pastel and QuickBooks.
in 2014, the holy spirit compelled me to start an organization called Love Restoration to pay forward the kindness I had received through Compassion International. Today, Love Restoration provides education, nutrition, and healthcare to 240 children in South Western Uganda. I act as the vision bearer and lead a team of 15 full-time employees and ten board members (Five in the USA and five in Uganda).
In 2019, I graduated with an MA in Organizational Leadership from Eastern Univerisity. This equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed for community transformation. I am a storyteller who enjoys sharing the goodness of the Lord with all that I meet. For the past 4.5 years, I have had an opportunity to travel to over 37 states as an Alumni speaker with Compassion International.
